NATO to open its Chisinau information office in early Dec - Stoltenberg
NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller will open the alliance's information office in the Moldovan capital, Chisinau, in early December, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said in Brussels on Thursday.
It is a display of the importance, which both NATO and Moldova attach to their partnership, Stoltenberg said at a joint press conference with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip on Thursday.
The information office is being opened at the Moldovan government's request and it will operate in a manner similar to relevant offices in Moscow, Kyiv, and Tbilisi, the NATO secretary-general said.
