Film about Ukrainian film director Sentsov gets award at Hungarian festival – media

 The film "The Trial: The State of Russia vs. Oleh Sentsov" by Russian director Askold Kurov has won the Audience Award at the Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights Verzio International in Budapest, Krim. Realii (Crimea. Realities) internet project has reported.

"The film "The Trial" received an award from the audience at the Verzio festival in Budapest," the Krim. Realii said on Sunday.

The award was received by movie producer Masha Gavrilova.

Earlier, the film was nominated for the Silver Eye-2017 as the best documentary film in Eastern and Central Europe.
