Avakov has no plans to run for president in 2019

Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov has said that he has no presidential ambitions, but he will decide on the candidature that he will support in the presidential elections.

"No, I won't. But I will decide whom to support," Avakov said on the air of the 'Pravo na Vladu' (Right to Power) program on the 1 + 1 TV channel overnight into Friday, answering a question about whether he will take part in the next presidential election as a candidate.

The next presidential election is scheduled for 2019.
