Ukrainian police car runs over mine in Donbas: 1 dead, 2 injured
A police car has tripped an anti-tank mine near Hnutove in Donetsk region, with a police major killed and another two law enforcement officers wounded in the incident, Ukraine's National Police deputy head, criminal police head Viacheslav Abroskin said on Wednesday.
"Some tragic information has just arrived. A service vehicle of the police traveling down the Talakivka-Hnutove road has hit an anti-tank mine planted by a militant group near the settlement of Hnutove in Donetsk region. A police major born on 1981 has died of his wounds. Another two policemen were wounded. They are now in hospital," Abroskin wrote on his Facebook page.
