Almost half of structural units of Ukrainian General Staff reorganized under NATO staffs structure
About 40% of the structural subdivisions of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been reorganized in accordance with the standard structure of NATO headquarters, acting State Secretary of the Defense Ministry Volodymyr Hovor has said.
"The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other governing bodies are being reformed in accordance with the principles of the Alliance," the press service of the Defense Ministry quoted Hovor as saying on Tuesday.
He also noted that the preparation of the Command of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) is continuing.
"The completed and self-sufficient SOFs will be able to carry out the entire list of tasks assigned to them before the end of this year. The capacity building of the SOFs is carried out in close cooperation with foreign partners," he said.
