NACP financial control department chief says e-declaration checks falsified
The National Agency on Corruption Prevention's (NACP) chief of financial control and lifestyle monitoring Hanna Solomatina has said e-declration checks are being falsified. She has asked anti-corruption agencies to look into unlawful actions and called for removing Natalia Korchak during the investigation.
"E-declarations are being used to whitewash bureaucrats, who are loyal to the power and to discredit critics while enriching the NACP chief and NACP members," she said during a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Solomatina said, "Results of checks are falsified on the instructions of NACP leaders," adding that she has tendered her resignation and reported improprieties at the agency to law-enforcement agencies.
