Consul specifies info on road accident involving Ukrainians in Slovakia
Ukraine's consul is checking information about a road accident involving a minibus and a truck with Ukrainian license plates near the village of Nizny Hrabovec in Slovakia.
"The consul is now in contact with local police on this issue. He clarifies the circumstances and causes of the accident," an official representative of the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Vasyl Kyrylych, told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
Earlier, Mukachevo.net reported that a man was killed in a collision of a minibus with a truck near the village of Nizny Hrabovec in Slovakia on November 11.
"The road accident occurred about an hour before midnight. A Mercedes Sprinter collided with a truck (both with Ukrainian license plates, from Zakarpattia region). The truck crew was not injured," the director of a regional fire and rescue unit in Presov said.
