Rada to consider bill on the state budget 2018 at first reading on Tuesday – Parubiy

The Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday will consider the draft law on the state budget for 2018 at the first reading, the chairman of the Ukrainian parliament, Andriy Parubiy, has said.

"The consideration of the budget will be the most important issue this week," he said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of faction leaders, committees and parliamentary groups in Kyiv on Monday.

Parubiy said that in the draft state budget for the next year, as well as in the state budgets of previous years, the issue of security and defense is a priority.

"I hope that we will be able to unite around the adoption of the budget of Ukraine at the first reading," the speaker said.

According to him, it is planned that the budget at the first reading will be considered on Tuesday, November 14.
