U.S. Assistant Secretary of State to reaffirm Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell from November 6 through November 16 will visit a number of European countries, including Ukraine, the U.S. State Department has announced.
Mitchell plans to be in Kyiv from November 14 through November 16 for meetings with top Ukrainian officials.
According to the U.S. State Department, Mitchell will hold talks with business leaders and civic activists "to discuss with them issues relating to the transformation of Ukraine into a blossoming, safe and democratic state."
Mitchell, who replaces Victoria Nuland, is also scheduled to visit Brussels, Paris, London, Berlin and Warsaw.
