SAPO head expects early completion of pretrial investigation against MPs Rozenblat, Poliakov

The pre-trial investigation into the figurants of the 'amber case' of the people's deputies Boryslav Rozenblat (independent) and Maksym Poliakov (the People's Front faction) will be completed in the near future, Nazar Kholodnytsky, head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) has said.

"Clarifying suspicions have been prepared. They will be familiarized with them. The investigation is about to be completed. I think that in the near future the investigation will announce the completion of the pretrial investigation, and the materials will be provided to both suspects," he said in the commentary to 112.Ukraine TV channel.

According to him, the investigation will announce the completion of the investigation in the near future.

MPs Rozenblat and Poliakov are the figurants of the so-called 'amber case.' These deputies are suspected of receiving undue benefits for introducing bills into the parliament and carrying out other actions related to the mining of amber in the interest of a non-resident company.
