Tour operators increase number of charter flights from Ukraine to Egypt in Nov
Ukrainian tour operators in November increased the number of charter flights from Ukraine to Egypt, the Center for Tourism Development of Ukraine has said.
"In November about 80 charter flights will depart to the resorts of Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam from Ukraine to Egypt every week, which is 10-15% more than in the same period last year," director of the center Volodymyr Tsaruk said.
According to him, despite the warnings of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine about the undesirability of travelling to Egypt, the demand for rest in this country in the 2017-2018 winter season is not decreasing.
CEO of the European tour operator TUI Ukraine Nurhan Chaly, in turn, noted that "the situation in the popular resorts of Egypt is calm."
"Every day more and more tourists come here from Europe, which once again speaks about the safety of recreation in local resorts. We do not see any threat in tourist areas that are well protected," he said.
