Nearly 180 prisoners moved from occupied Donbas, Crimea to territory controlled by Kyiv
A total of 178 prisoners have been transferred since 2015 from Russian-annexed Crimea and occupied Donbas to the territory under Ukraine's control, Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Valeria Lutkovska has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Some 166 prisoners were transferred from territories controlled by the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR/LPR) and 12 from the occupied Crimea," she said told the agency on Thursday.
