Russian investigators have officially brought major fraud charges against the former head of Ukraine's State Management Office and ex-chief of the Ukrainian national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy, Ihor Bakai.
"Bakai is in the status of defendant," the spokeswoman for Moscow's Tagansky District Court, Yulia Sukhinina, told Interfax on Tuesday.
Bakai is facing up to 10 years in jail.
On October 27, the court ordered Bakai's arrest through November 12, Sukhinina said.
