Inspections from Italy, Romania and Slovakia to check Ukraine's compliance with arms control obligations - General Staff
Three inspection teams from Italy, Romania and Slovakia began their work on Tuesday to verify Ukraine's compliance with international arms control obligations, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"As of today, Ukraine has taken 50 inspections, three of them will be held today," head of the Verification Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hudz said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
The representative of the General Staff noted that one inspection team will consist of representatives from Italy, two more inspections will be conducted by Romania and Slovakia.
Hudz also said that Ukraine fully fulfills its international obligations in the framework of treaties and agreements on arms control and security enhancement.
