U.S. National Guard in Ohio, New York want to train with Ukrainian Armed Forces – Muzhenko
Ukraine's General Staff Chief of the Armed Forces Viktor Muzhenko during a working visit to the U.S. has met in the Pentagon with the chief of the U.S. National Guard General Joseph L. Lengyel to discuss cooperation.
"Lengyel told me that in addition to our old friends from California, National Guard units from other U.S. states want to expand cooperation with Ukraine's armed forces. This goes for National Guard units in Ohio and New York," Muzhenko said on his Facebook page on Tuesday.
"America's experience shows that a reserve forces and units of territorial defense forces are effective only under one military command," Muzhenko said.
