NABU investigators conduct actions in office of Odesa mayor
Investigators of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) on Monday conducted investigative actions in the office of Odesa Mayor Henadiy Trukhanov, a source in law enforcement agencies told Interfax-Ukraine.
It said that Trukhanov is in Odesa, but his exact location is not known yet. Also, the source did not rule out that the NABU is conducting or conducted searches at the mayor's place.
As reported, at the beginning of October 2017 Odesa Mayor Henadiy Trukhanov visited the office of NABU during his visit to Kyiv.
According to the TV channel, Trukhanov was summoned to the NABU in connection with the investigation of the purchase of the building for the centralized deployment of Odesa City Council's departments. Activists of a number of public organizations and journalists have repeatedly written that this building was purchased by the city council at an extremely inflated price (UAH 185 million), and then repaired for an exorbitant price.
