Govt drafting bill unifying system of providing social assistance – Reva
Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva has said that the government is drafting a bill that unifies the system of providing social assistance, and expects its adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine before the end of this year.
"For those who are really in trouble, and they need help, we are now preparing a new law that will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. And I hope it will be adopted before the new year. It will unify the system of providing social assistance. We will unify the types of assistance," Reva said in the 'Batsman' program on the 112.Ukraine TV channel on Thursday evening.
According to him, social assistance will be appointed, based on real incomes of people. "That is, we will proceed not from the status of a person, but from his material condition," the minister said.
