Verkhovna Rada to submit 2 bills canceling deputy immunity to Constitutional Court
The Verkhovna Rada decided on Thursday to add to the agenda of its session and submit to the Constitutional Court a presidential bill, which modifies Article 80 of the Ukrainian constitution on the immunity of parliament deputies.
The motion gained the support of 336 Rada deputies.
The deputies also decided to include in the session's agenda and submit to the Constitutional Court a parliamentary bill that would amend the constitution by canceling parliamentary immunity. The decision was made by 328 votes.
