Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has postponed the planned visit to Brussels on Wednesday due to the worsening situation in the east of the country and the internal situation in Ukraine.
"Turchynov has postponed his visit to Brussels due to the internal situation and the worsening of the situation in the east," the National Security and Defense Council told the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on Wednesday.
According to the announcement, posted on the NATO website, Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday, October 18, was to meet with Turchynov. In addition, it was planned that the NSDC secretary would participate in the work of the NATO-Ukraine Commission.
