About 200 protesters opposite Rada, situation under contro

As of 9:30 on Wednesday, there were about 200 protesters near the building of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported.

"Among them, there are representatives of the New Forces Movement party - up to 50 people, the Donbas battalion - up to 100 people and Justice party - up to 50 people," the Interior Ministry said on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

According to law enforcers, the overall situation in the place of holding mass events is controlled. "There is a sufficient number of police and military personnel of the National Guard to ensure the safety of citizens and unhindered functioning of state institutions," the Interior Ministry reported.
