Ukrainian border service patrol plane did not violate Belarusian air space – Border service
A DA42 patrol plane of Ukraine's State Border Service that on September 25 carried out a planned flight over areas of Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions did not violate Belarusian air space, according to Oleh Slobodian, assistant to the chief of the border service.
"As for possible violation of Belarusian air space by the plane, on September 25 the border service was carrying out a planned flight with the aim of monitoring air space of the state border [with Belarus] being patrolled by border service patrols… Air traffic controllers with the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (Ukraerorukh) monitored the flight. According to their information there were no border violations," Slobodian said on his Facebook page on Thursday.
