Ukrainian Interior Ministry, State Fiscal Service heads file suits against Saakashvili
A number of lawsuits against former governor of Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili on the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation are registered in Kyiv courts. Their consideration will take place in September, October and December of this year.
Information on the claims is posted on the website of the Judicial Authority of Ukraine.
Saakashvili was sued by the following persons: Ukraine's Interior Minister Arsen Avakov (will be considered in September by the Dniprovsky District Court of Kyiv), the dismissed head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov (in September this claim should be considered by Shevchenkivsky district court of Kyiv), as well as parliamentarians of Ukraine from the People's front faction Andriy Ivanchuk (in October, by Podilsky district court) and Serhiy Pashynsky (in December, by Podilsky district court).
The defendants in the claims are a number of television and radio companies and a news agency.
