Saakashvili arrives in Copenhagen to meet with EPP leaders
Former President of Georgia, ex-head of Odesa regional state administration, Mikheil Saakashvili, has said that he arrived in Copenhagen (Denmark) for a meeting with the leaders of the European People's Party (EPP).
"Copenhagen, where I arrived with my Ukrainian passport for meetings with the leaders of the European People's Party and the European parliamentarians," Saakashvili wrote on his Facebook page on Monday, without specifying whether he arrived in the country by the Ukrainian passport.
He added that in the morning he had met with President of the European People's Party (EPP) Joseph Daul and Secretary-General Antonio Salafranca, and also gave numerous interviews.
As previously reported, earlier Saakashvili said that he intended to visit Denmark and Belgium before returning to Ukraine.
