Ukrainian Security Service views Kyiv blast as hooliganism
Investigators of the Ukrainian Security Service are working on the site of the explosion of an unknown device in Hrushevskoho Street in downtown Kyiv, the service's spokesperson Olena Hitlianska told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
"A group of our investigators together with police officers are working on the explosion site in Hrushevskoho Street. The main theory is hooliganism," Hitlianska said.
According to media reports, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and Ukrainian national police chief Serhiy Kniazev arrived at the scene.
