Armed Forces, other law enforcement agencies - main guarantor of Ukraine's independence

The guarantee of Ukraine's independence is currently the Armed Forces and other security forces, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.

"The inheritance of the state is dependent on each of us, but the main guarantor is the Armed Forces, the National Guard and other security agencies that protect the country from Russian aggression," he said on St. Sofia Square on Wednesday, speaking on the occasion of the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine.
