Kyiv Armored Plant upgrades T-72A tank for Ukrainian army
Ukraine has completed the modernization of its T-72A tanks and is planning to buy Oplot fighting vehicles before the end of 2017, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.
"The T-72A combat tank has become more secure and efficient. During modernization, the Kyiv Armored Plant state enterprise reflected as much as possible the experience of Ukrainian troops in the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] zone. Also, thanks to changes in the 2017 national budget, the Ukrainian army will receive Oplot tanks," Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page.
"The Ukrainian army is getting stronger by the day," Poroshenko wrote.
