OSCE SMM camera installed at Donetsk Filtration Station destroyed

A video surveillance camera of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Ukraine, which was earlier installed at the Donetsk Filtration Station, has been disabled as a result of weapons fire, the Mission said.

"OSCE SMM camera @ Donetsk Filtration Station - operational only 1 day - already shot at from S, S-W direction & destroyed," the mission said on Twitter.

"2/2 Hug: Just prior 2 its destruction camera saw small-arms fire. Truth is too uncomfortable for sides 2 be seen by #OSCE SMM," the mission tweeted referring to OSCE SMM Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug.
