Kyiv reports 18 cease fire violations, one killed serviceman, two injured in ATO zone in past 24 hours
During the past day, Russian-backed militants have violated ceasefire 18 times across the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone, leaving one Ukrainian soldier killed and another two - wounded in action, the press center of the ATO headquarters reported.
"Over the past day, illegal armed groups violated the ceasefire regime 18 times. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and two others were injured," the ATO staff said on Facebook on Tuesday.
In the Donetsk sector, militant forces used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, machineguns, and small arms near Avdiyivka and the Butovka mine, the headquarters said.
In the Luhansk sector, 82mm mortars were used near Krymske and Triokhizbenka.
In the Mariupol sector, mortars and grenade launchers were fired on Ukrainian fortifications in Novomykhailivka, Chermalyk and Vodiane.
