OSCE calls for more crossing points on disengagement line in Luhansk region
More crossing points should be opened on the disengagement line in Luhansk region, Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM) in Ukraine Alexander Hug said.
"Sides need to open more crossing points in Luhansk region for the sake of civilians who cross contact line every day," the OSCE SMM said on its Twitter account on Monday in citing Hug.
The OSCE SMM said that its patrol has crossed the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska on its way to Luhansk. "It's still only crossing point in Luhansk and it's still severely damaged," it said.
"Summer is best time to repair it. But sides need to cease fire and disengage to allow repairs to be conducted," it said.
