Russia stations three motorized rifle divisions on Ukrainian border

The Russian Federation has increased its military presence on the border with Ukraine by three motorized rifle divisions, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on its Facebook page on Sunday.

"The organizational and staff structure, armament and military equipment that is coming to strengthen its Armed Forces, indicates that these Russian divisions are striking forces in its essence and designed to conduct rapid offensive actions," chief of the General Staff – the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Viktor Muzhenko said.
