U.S. State Department envoy plans to converge with self-proclaimed republics' reps in Donbas
U.S. State Department's Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker said that he has planned to familiarize himself with the real situation and to meet with different parties to the conflict during his visit to Donbas on Sunday.
Volker said at a press conference in Kramatorsk on Sunday that he has planned to visit Avdiyivka and other communities along the disengagement line and to talk to local residents. He said that he would have talks with other parties to this process then and would hear their point of view. He said that following this he would return to Washington, where he would give certain recommendations.
He also said that he has not planned to issue a statement on Washington's policy on this issue as of yet.
