Relative lull in Donbas: only five enemy attacks, one soldier injured
Given a recent spike in enemy activity in Donbas, this Friday could be characterized as a relatively quiet day, the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) press service said.
Between midnight and 6 p.m. the enemy breached truce five times, the press center said on Facebook.
The Ukrainian troops fired back, the press center said.
In particular, in the direction of Mariupol, at around midnight the enemy fired various mortars at the Ukrainian troops in Vodiane, it said.
"And at almost 2 a.m., as a result of shelling of our positions near Novhorodske, in the direction of Donetsk, one soldier from the Anti-Terrorist Operation forces sustained a gunshot wound," the statement said.
In the direction of Luhansk, there was shelling near the villages of Donets and Krymske.
