Poroshenko, Lukashenko agree on Ukrainians', Belarusians' stay in both countries on equal terms
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said he has reached agreement with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on the stay of Ukrainians and Belarusians in both countries on equal terms.
"We have also agreed to ensure on the basis of reciprocity Ukrainian citizens' stay in Belarus without registration for the same period as Belarusian citizens presence in Ukraine," Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with Lukashenko in Kyiv on Friday.
"It is the land of friendship. Belarusians in Ukraine and Ukrainians in Belarus should feel comfortable," the Ukrainian president said.
