Russia special services step up activities in Ukraine – Marchuk
Ukraine's representative in the security subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), Yevhen Marchuk has said Russia has decreased the intensity of combat operations on the contact line demarcation in eastern Ukraine while simultaneously stepping up the activities of Russian special services in the rest of the country.
"It is absolutely the case that Russia has decreased its military activities and stepped up work bone by Russian special services in Ukraine," Ukraine's representative in the TGG security subgroup Marchuk told reporters in Kyiv on Tuesday.
At the same time, he said ordinary citizens see only the recent terrorist attacks – the assassinations of Ukrainian high-ranking military personnel – using mines and car bombs.
