Poroshenko brings delegation of businessmen to Georgia
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko arrived on a three-day visit to Georgia accompanied by Ukrainian businessmen on Monday evening.
"The two countries' presidents will sign a joint declaration, which will determine the main principles of cooperation between Georgia and Ukraine," Georgian presidential advisor for international affairs Tengiz Pkhaladze told reporters.
The Ukrainian president also plans to consider security issues at the talks in Georgia, he said.
During Poroshenko's visit to Georgia a number of bilateral documents, which are aimed at expanding strategic cooperation between the two countries, are expected to be signed, the Ukrainian presidential administration said on its Facebook account.
Ukrainian President Poroshenko and Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will open a business forum in Tbilisi and will attend an investment roundtable in Batumi.
