Kyiv's ex-mayor Chernovetsky informed about suspicion - PGO
The Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) of Ukraine has reported that a notice of suspicion on Kyiv's ex-mayor Leonid Chernovetsky on facts of abuse of power or misuse of office has been served.
"After an investigation, former mayor of Kyiv Chernovetsky, according to the procedure stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, was informed on July 14, 2017, that he is suspected of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or misuse of office)," the PGO press service said on Friday.
