Ukraine waiting for defensive weapons from foreign partners
Ukraine is waiting for decisions by its foreign partners to provide it with defensive weapons, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.
"We witness a dramatic increase in international support for Ukraine, and we are waiting for a decision on providing Ukraine with defensive weapons by our strategic partners," Poroshenko said during a working visit to Sumy on Wednesday.
The president also said that this week's meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission resulted in the increase of trust funds for assisting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and countering cyber crime.
