Rada committee to consider PGO's motion on Dobkin's criminal liability on July 12
The Verkhovna Rada's Regulatory Committee on Wednesday, July 12, plans to consider motions submitted by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko on granting consent for bringing to criminal responsibility, detention and arrest of MP from the Opposition Bloc parliamentary faction Mykhailo Dobkin.
A respective announcement was posted on the committee's website on Monday.
As reported, Lutsenko tabled a motion in parliament on June 29 for bringing Dobkin to criminal responsibility, detention and arrest.
According to Lutsenko, Dobkin's actions have "signs of deliberate collusion of a group of persons for abuse of office and assistance to fraud in order to acquire 78 hectares of land in Kharkiv with an estimated value of over UAH 220 million."
