Trump: Russian sanctions to remain in place until Ukraine and Syrian crises settled
Sanctions introduced against Russia will remain in place until the crisis in Ukraine and Syrian has been solved, U.S. President Donald Trump has said.
"Sanctions were not discussed at my meeting with President Putin. Nothing will be done until the Ukrainian & Syrian problems are solved!" he tweeted on Sunday.
Trump met with Putin on Friday, June 7, on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.
