Stockholm arbitration to rule on Gazprom, Naftogaz dispute no later than Nov 30, 2017
The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce will issue its final verdict in the dispute between Naftogaz Ukrainy and Gazprom over their gas supply contract of 2009 no later than November 30, 2017, Gazprom said in a eurobond prospectus, seen by Interfax.
Gazprom said the institute issued an interim ruling on certain aspects of the dispute on May 31 and was thinking about filing an appeal against this. The interim ruling's findings for Gazprom can be assessed once the parties to the arbitration, by request of the court, reach or do not reach agreement on certain issues, but in any event after the final verdict has been reached, Gazprom said.
"On June 19, 2017, the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce decided that a final verdict will be delivered not later than November 30, 2017," Gazprom said.
