Turkey has handed over the chairmanship in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) to Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andriy Parubiy, has said.
"During the meeting in Istanbul, Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Ismail Kahraman, handed over the chairmanship of the PABSEC to Ukraine," Parubiy wrote on his Twitter on Thursday, demonstrating the message with photos of the event.
As reported, Parubiy is on a visit to Turkey on July 5-7. Within the framework of the visit, he is scheduled to attend the 49th PABSEC General Assembly, as well as meet with Kahrman and PABSEC Secretary General Asaf Hajiyev.
