A European Parliament delegation will visit the Anti-Terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas, including Mariupol, this week, Verkhovna Rada First Deputy Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko has said.
"A large delegation of the European Parliament will visit Mariupol and the ATO zone this week," Gerashchenko said at a conference in Kyiv on Tuesday. The purpose of the trip is to familiarize the European Parliament deputies with the humanitarian and economic situation and security levels in Donbas.
