Poltorak discusses procurement of defense equipment in 2018 with Canadian counterpart
Ukraine's Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak has discussed with Canadian Minister of National Defense Harjit Singh Sajjan the prospects for defense cooperation and the possibility of buying defense equipment from Canada next year.
The ministerial meeting took place on Thursday during the working visit of Poltorak to Brussels, where the minister took part in the meeting of the ministers of NATO member countries and held a series of bilateral meetings, the official website of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said.
Also, the defense minister of Ukraine informed his Canadian counterpart about the situation in the east of the country and invited him to visit Ukraine and celebrations on the occasion of Independence Day in August this year.
