NSDC approves number of measures to step up counter-terrorism measures in Ukraine
KYIV. June 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov on Tuesday held an operative meeting with the leaders of the security and defense sector to develop adequate measures to counter Russian hybrid threats.
"Based on the results of the meeting, taking into account the high level of the terrorist threat, a number of steps have been approved to step up the counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence regime in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine," the NSDC press service said following the meeting.
