Poroshenko did not discuss Donbas reintegration bill in Washington
The Donbas reintegration bill was not on the agenda of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's negotiations with senior members of the U.S. Administration in Washington DC, Verkhovna Rada First Deputy Speaker Iryna Gerashchenko said.
"Was the Donbas reintegration bill discussed at those meetings? No. Neither this nor other bills were discussed," Gerashchenko said on Facebook on Thursday morning, following Poroshenko's visit to the United States.
She said though that the Donbas settlement process "was high on the agenda, and a broad range of conflict settlement issues and the restoration of peace in Donbas was discussed in that context," she said.
Gerashchenko was a member of the Poroshenko delegation that visited the United States on June 20-21.
