President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said that the process of reforming in the country will continue and all criteria will be met.
"Ukraine fully agrees to fulfill all the criteria for reforms and the Association Agreement. And it is very important that we continue to implement reforms despite the war, despite the very difficult security situation in Ukraine," Poroshenko said in a joint statement with the European Council President Donald Tusk in Brussels on Thursday.
At the same time Poroshenko said that official Kyiv makes every effort to complete reforms in the shortest possible time.
"Today, Ukraine and the European Union are much closer to each other than ever before. We have never had such a level of trust, cooperation and support ... I am glad that I was able to discuss this with President Tusk and coordinate our actions to help me and all of us return peace to Ukraine," Poroshenko said.
