ICRC sends 233 tonnes of humanitarian aid to DPR

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has sent humanitarian aid to the territory of the Donetsk region temporarily uncontrolled by Kyiv, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said in a report on Thursday.

"Twelve humanitarian trucks crossed the Novotroyitske checkpoint into the temporarily uncontrolled territory. The vehicles were carrying food, hygienic product sets and construction materials with a total weight exceeding 233 tonnes," the report said.

According to the State Border Guard Service, the cargo was sent to residents of the Donetsk region on behalf of the ICRC.
