Poroshenko to pay working visit to Brussels on June 22
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay a working visit to Brussels on June 22, where he will meet with President of the European Council Donald Tusk, President of the European People's Party (EPP) Joseph Daul and other leaders of the EU member states.
Poroshenko will also take part in the enlarged European People's Party summit, the presidential press service of Ukraine said.
"The president will inform the talkers about the aggravation of the security situation in Donbas, the status of implementation and specific cases of violation by the Russian side of the Minsk agreements with a view to ensuring a positive decision of the European Council to extend sectoral sanctions against Russia," a message says.
In addition, the president of Ukraine plans to discuss issues related to preparations for the Ukraine-EU summit, which is scheduled in Kyiv for July 12-13, 2017.
