Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko during his working visit to the United States has met in Washington, D.C., with U.S. Department of Energy Chief Rick Perry, according to Poroshenko's spokesman Svyatoslav Tsegolko.
"The president has met with Perry. The next meeting is in the White House," Tsegolko said on Twitter on Tuesday.
The Ukrainian president will meet with U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, after which he will hold talks with U.S. President Donald Trump. In addition, on the same day, the Ukrainian president will hold talks with U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim.
It is expected that after negotiations with Trump, Poroshenko will talk with reporters.
