Netherlands sends ratification instruments for Ukraine-EU Association Agreement to Brussels – Poroshenko
The instruments of ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union by the Netherlands have been sent to Brussels, the next step is ratification of the agreement by the European Atomic Energy Community and the approval by the EU Council, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"The Netherlands has fully completed the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU... The ratification instruments for the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union have been sent to Brussels, followed by the ratification by the Euratom and the formal decision of the EU Council," Poroshenko wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
He noted that now Ukraine is one step closer to the association with the EU.
